I have about 5 weeks left (something like that) and I'm wondering when should I start go shopping for clothes?
Also what would you suggest for a sophmore in highschool next year? (:

Start now and get the basics like tank tops, camis, solid color button shirts, jeans, flats, flip flops, and skirts/shorts while they're on clearance sales. You can double your wardrobe by doing that.
Then hold some money back for a couple of trendy things for fall that you might want at the last minute. Also, it's good to wear basics at first and check out what the other girls are wearing. As you move from freshman to sophomore, you'll be wearing less regular tees and more form fitting cap sleeve and vee neck tops, with or without a contrasting tank under them (depending on how low cut the neck is).
I'd get a messenger bag for books instead of a backpack, too. I like black ones with multicolored designs like hearts or butterflies or squiggles so that all my colored tops go with it. Have fun shopping!! : P

I am going to school next year and I want to know if I should carry a back pack, a backpack and a purse, or a late tote or hobo? Also would I be able to fit some personal items and books in a large tote? And what r some general things that a girl should carry in a purse ?

Carry whatever is most comfortable for you. In high school I used a backpack and never carried a purse, in fact as a 22 year old woman I still don't use a purse.
No one is going to judge you on what kind of bag you use to carry your books. Backpacks are the most comfortable, so use them.
