Is there a website that will let you plug in all your details and tell you a price? Me and my 3 year old daughter (5 at the time of trip) aren't going until September 2012 (9/24-9/29) staying 5 nights for her birthday. I want the park hopper option and water parks and more options also. We will be staying in one of the value resorts and I will be driving from North Carolina. I was hoping to use the dining plan but it all depends on price. I was just wondering if there is any way I can put all this information in somewhere and it just give me a price?

Answer
As others have said, you can go to the Disney website to get prices, but that's for rooms and tickets. Another very helpful website is http://www.intercot.com/default.asp. This site is very good. It even has restaurant menus with pricing. I would suggest booking thought the WDW website. September is usually a great month for specials like free dining with packages. I would buy a 3 or 4 day park hopper with the water park option unless you think you will go back again. In that case, it becomes a fantastic deal to add the no expiration option and double the number of days. You can then save the remaining days for your next trip (see for yourself on their website). With a 5yr old, you'll need a whole day for each park and you'll be exhausted if you don't take a day to relax at the water park or by the pool.

A really good book is "Birnbaum's Walt Disney World 2011" The 2012 edition will be out soon. Their advice is spot on!

Here's our advice on visiting WDW (we have been going every other year for the last 25 years. All of our kids are married now and we have 2 grandchildren and we're all going agin in June). Avoid the "am extra magic hours", those parks are too crowded on those days. Be at your chosen park when it opens. Head straight to either the back of that park or to your most important ride. Work your way from the back to the front. Either eat an early (11:30am) or late (1pm) lunch or go back to your hotel around lunchtime for rest and swimming. Return to that park either in time for the parade or just after it. Lots of people with young children will be leaving for the day. You're now refreshed and can enjoy the rest of the park when it's not so hot and crowded. Repeat with each day or choose a park that has late hours and go after lunch planning on staying until evening or going back to your room at dinner and returning for fireworks.

Another $ saver is to buy non-perishables like cereal, crackers, cookies ect at home and UPS them to yourself at your hotel. The staff will keep them in the luggage area for you until you get there. Have them call you a taxi and take it to the super WalMart to get milk, juice, lunchmeat ect for your room refrigerator. The taxi will cost $20, but you'll still be ahead more than buying food there.

Take a backpack and line one of the compartments with some of that foil insulated bubblewrap and freeze a couple of bottles of water to put in it. Add some fruit or veggies and you'll have cold drinks and snacks all day.

I'll stop here......could go on and on, haha
Hope this helps

Uhm, Warped Tour 2012 help and Info?

Josie

OKay I know i've asked about this before...
But I just got Warped Tour tickets last night and I was curious about some other things.

My parents bought 4 tickets, one for my friend, one for me, one for my sister if she wants to go, and one for him. He doesn't want to go to any of the concerts, he just wants to be there because you know hes a dad... That's what he does.
SO with the Reverse Babysitting center-things, he just goes there and chills? If that's what he wants to do does he have to have a ticket? I kinda want to take another friend with me.
So..... Help please?
ANY information about what I mentioned above.... Thanks â¥
Also, if you have any information that I might need about any of this i want to be as prepared as possible! :D

Answer
Yes he needs a ticket to go to the reverse daycare. Reverse daycare is an air condition tent with a big screen tv and comfy chairs. They have movies playing all day as well as free beverages for the parents. Kids aren't allowed inside the reverse daycare.

Bring: Water, Sunscreen, Hat, Brush, Hand Sanitizer, Backpack, Sharpies, Kleenex.
Eat a good breakfast that day. Eat there even if you don't feel hungry. Have a spot to meet up with friends if you get split up. Take a break in the shade every once in awhile to cool off and relax. There will be a huge blow up with the times/bands/stages by the Main stage and Vans tent. They have a free paper with the stage names and free pencils to fill out the bands and times.

After doing that then explore the booths a lot of them give you free stuff. Get to the band stage 30 minutes before they are set to play to get a good spot. Dress for the weather. Don't wear jeans or dark colors. Don't wear opened toed shoes if you plan on going into the crowd your feet will get smashed. Stick to shorts, t-shirt or tank top and comfy shoes.
