Q. i hurt my shoulder last year and this is my moms way of preventing more injuries but i really am fine with using a normal backpack because it doesn't hurt anymore. I have tried to convince her but she just won't listen to me.

other than trying to convice her i dont know what else you could do. backpacks usually dont cause many back problems if you wear them correctly. but i understand mothers, shes stubborn and isnt gonna listen. you're probably stuck bringing that one for a while.
but in 100% honnesty NO ONE CARES! it seems to you like roller backpacks are uncool (wasnt it just 7 years ago in second grade pokemon rolller bags were the coolest thing ever?) but really you know who's gonna care? you know whos gonna say "ew look she has a roller bag, how lame."? those stupid b*tchy little freshmen girls you had to deal with all through middle school. they're the only ones. the ones you already have learned to ignore. the ones you already hate and dont talk to. anyone else you're actually going to WANT to be friends with wont care at all. im sure you want to be in with upper-classmen (bc what freshmen doesnt?). and honnestly they wont give a shit what kind of bag you have. if anything they'll respect you more and think you're more mature for not caring what others think. they're think you're cool for that. at least in my experience no one judges that harshly in high school. you think they do but they dont.

What Kind of Backpack Should I Get?

I am a freshman in high school this year and I need a new backpack. I had a Jansport Superbreak but that was too small.(1551.2 cu in). Then I just bought another Jansport with wheels but that was really big.(1901.5 cu in). What would be a good backpack to buy that is in between these two sizes. I do NOT need to carry around my text books.
It does not need to be Jansport.
PS. I know the backpacks with wheels are geeky but I go to a school with all geeks and nerds. I don't like it. Mom's idea.
