Q. I'm a girl and I'm going to be in 10th grade. Long story short, used to be home schooled, now going to public school for the first time. I'm going to be taking my lunch from home and I would either need to carry a tin lunchbox or one of those plastic container things to accommodate the type of food I would be taking. Which one is less dorky? Thanks.

In middle school I had a soft purple lunch box with various little reptiles on it. Super cute. This question suddenly reminded me that I used to have a hard plastic My Little Pony lunch box, and I would totally bring that if I knew where it was, even though I'm in college now. You can just bring a Tupperware box of your lunch and toss it in your backpack if you don't want a lunch box.

what to get a girl i like for her birthday?

So theres this girl i really like in my class and her birthday is in 5 days. We talk often during class and sometimes at lunch. Im not rich, so no jewelry, cd's or stuffed animals. I also dont want to get her something extremely sentimental like a bouquet of flowers or a heart shaped box of chocolates. I was thinking of just getting her a big cookie from the corner store. Also, i hven't told her that i like her but i plan on doing so soon. Any suggestions?

it depends on your age. but- since she has no idea you like her, id get a gift that is sort of implying you like her, but not like boom, "hey i like you. lets make out."
to do so you can either use an inside joke, fe lets say u have an inside joke about skittles, id fill her locker or backpack or something with skittles. shows shes important to you and its cute! (and cheap)
or make a card. honestly, home made cards are amazing. put in effort, shell notice:) and in the card you can write, "i think youre pretty, nice, blahblahblah". but this implies you like her a lot, but maybe youre just saying this cuz its her birthday. itll keep her on her feet!
