Well I am not a teen, I am in college, but some good things for fall are:
Some great jeans
ribbed tanks for layering
Lacoste Polos
Sweaters- Jcrew makes some nice ones.
Great shoes: a cute and comfy style right now is the ballet flat, another is the pointy toe flat.
A great jacket: A denim one is always good, or a hip blazer. Burberry makes a nice quilted one.
A great bag: Either a purse and a backpack, or a messenger bag. If going for a purse, trying to get something not everyone will has. I seen teenagers a lot with Coach or Dooney, maybe try a cute little bag by Gucci or Burberry.
Sneakers: Can't go wrong with classic converse.
I would stay away from very trendy looks, or maybe mix up trendy with classic. The mistakes that most teens make, I think is getting too much on the trends, and then they all start looking like everyone else. Try to be unique and have fun with fashion. Maybe try shopping at little boutiques.
Also, remember, you don't have to go to stores that cater to teens ( IE Abercrombie, American Eagle, Forever 21, Wet Seal) all of the time, try buying a few pieces ( a nice bag, a great coat) at a more high end store instead of buying a couple shirts from one of these other stores.

My Grandma lets me go shopping with her every year for my birthday. And she is taking me out tomorrow and i don't know what to get. She basically gets me anything i want. I am a girl(just sayin). Going into 7th grade and needs help

if this is ur whole grade 7 wordrobe then:
6 pairs of jeans
a pair of non denim pants..ie..pinstripe pants, twill pants
2-4 cute dresses- school dance,church etc.
a cute denim skirt
6-8 new tees
a pair of sweat pants
5-6 cute hoodies
a pea coat
plain coloured tees,tanks,hoodies_layering peices
cute runners.. pumas or converse or vans
a v neck sweater
an argyle sweater( WITH A SCOOP NECK)
2-3 cardigans
4-5 tanks
backpack
lip gloss?
2-3 babydoll tops
2-3 signature pieces (ie cute top from boutique, beaded necklace,handmade earings)...mine is a pair of melrose jeans.
a pair of flats.
headbands
dangly earings
thats all i can think of
if u have some of this then obv. dont buy it. but thsat is what u will need to get through grade 7.
