I'm writing a report on bullying behaviors and I'd be curious to know different kinds of bullying, teasing, drama, etc at this early age.

Answer
I actually had a major bully problem in elementary school. I have a heart disease, but when I was younger (elementary school ages) it was most noticeable and I was really thin, really pale, and my hair was a really, really light blonde and thin. All in all, I looked like some freaky albino alien due to my health condition. Needless to say, outside of my small knit group of friends, I got picked on a lot.

In fifth grade, there was this one hispanic girl who just wouldn't stop leaving me alone. It got to the point where she was both mentally and physically harrassing me. The only two instances I really remember were that she had picked my backpack up by the handle (the one at the top of those old, bulkier ones) and pretty much throwing me to the side of the staircase, along with the threat she had made to bash my head against the side of a schoolbus. I had my grandfather come in to talk with the guidance counselor and although it never really got better, I've never run into her since then since they had moved her to a seperate school (I think..) or even if they hadn't, most people didn't like this girl as she was one of those "oh look at me, i'm so amazing and perfect and sexy and you should love me" type of girls so they had backed me slightly in the matter.

Still, I definitely do not miss elementary school.

List of Things I Need to Get Ready for Middle School for Girls?

Q. I'm going into middle school this year and I need to know what I should have to look good. Here's what I came up with so far:

Mouthwash
Lip Gloss
Mascara
Moisturizers
Blush
Whitening Toothpaste
Body Spray
Face Wash
Anti Sweat Deoderant

What else do I need?

Answer
Well i felt the same way when i was starting. I am going to be in my 2nd year now. Here is a list:
mouthwash, lip gloss, mascara, moisturizers, whiteing toothpaste, fresh scent thats not strong or heavy but is light and refreshing for school, deodarant, neutrogena face wash, no blush or concealer or foundation, youll like TOO MADE UP!

1. Clothes that you like and feel confident in, and that fit you the way you want and express your feelings. Just don't wear too much limited too, and you'll be fine. This includes cute accessories.
2.Don't get a huge bookbag with lots of pockets, people will make fun of you, lol seriously. I reccomend a simple jansport or jansport style backpack like this: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41ePo1WW5sL._AA280_.jpg
and no attached lunch boxes thats lame.
3.When you get there calm down, its excited just realz and try to taske it in slowly.
4. DO NOT RUN TO YOUR CLASSES. this is the golden rule. you'll look like a franicky sixth grader and thats not what you need! trust me, nothing more annoying than people running.
5. Don't disrespect upperclassmen, dont try to act like your smarter or better or funny. cause your not. respect them, and talk to them how much you dislike teachers or something and they might take you under your wing. But don't worship them or anything cause they arent gods, despite what they say.
6. bullies? TELL IMMEDIATELY. it wont make you a tattle tale or any of that elementary stuff. its what you need to do. just stay out of trouble.
7.stay away from drama queens. thats the last thing you need..
8. learrn what you nee d to, locker combo, schedule, and rules.
9.listen to the teachers, dont get into the crowd that thinks its funny to disrespect them cause its not.
10.dont forget, your their to learn more than you are to socialize, don't mix up those priorites.
11. Most importantly have fun, once you get there you'll learn its not as ovverrated as people tell you. it will be a fine as long as you keep your head up and enjoy the years, they'll go by quickly.
