whatever u do, DO NOT get an abercrombie or hollister bag, they rip. actually dont get such an expensive namebrand bag. it all depends on the way u dress actually. if youre a laid back girl then get a regular bag with no design from h&m. if youre goth, get a bag from hot topic, it will fit ur style. if youre "rich" or wear alot ot namebrand such as louis vuitton burberry gucci juicy true religion michael kors, then get one of those. but remember always get something you know youll be able to get more than one of. because people in high school talk alot of crap and always have something to say. especially about freshman, if you plan on getting something expensive, make sure u dont wear it every day for the next 180 days of school. if u cant afford to get 2, then u dont deserve to have 1.

I need a bag so I can carry my books and laptop around campus. What would be most convenient and why. Also what brand would you suggest

I must agree with the others and say your best bet is going to be a laptop backpack bag. These types of bags will evenly distribute the weight making it much more comfortable and easier for your to carry around on your travels throughout the campus. As for a particular brand to suggest, its a more personal thing as I don't know your style. But I will recommend a website where you can find all different types of laptop bags to choose from.
