I was thinking about getting a tote bag for school, instead of a backpack. I was wondering if Vera Bradley's are worth it, or if I should just get a non name-brand bag? I'm looking for a cute, sturdy, large bag, and pockets and a zipper would be nice. I really don't want to get one from Hollister, Abercrombie, or American Eagle because they don't look sturdy enough, and are pretty small. Anyways, thanks for whatever help you can give! : )

I got a Vera Bradley tote bag and love it! I think it's easier to carry and load stuff into than a backpack. It's cute, very sturdy, it looks medium sized from the outside but has so much space on the inside, it has about 6-8 large pockets on the inside, 2 on the outside... It can hold about maybe 3-4 binders and about 3-4 large books. It doesn't zipper if you get if you get the "large villager bag" but instead has a button-like closing that keeps it closed and makes it easy to open! I think it is TOTALLY worth it to get a Vera Bradley bag! :) They are on the expensive side, but they are really well made and are quite durable too! Anyway, Vera Bradley bags are quite trendy right now! If you want more info about Vera Bradley bags, you can just go to www.verabradley.com and search for the villager bags! Hello! I'm going to be a senior in hs & most people at my school have either cool backpacks or tote bags that are on the larger size. I personally love the tote more than the backpack because the weight of your books isn't on your back, but some don't, so it's really up to you.

Just a note: I always buy my school bags at eBags.com because the totes that they have are on the bigger side, so they can fit all of my books. The bags are a tad expensive, but they're excellent quality & I've never had a problem in my 4 years of shopping there. Also, I'd buy from there in July, because it's 20% off the price & free shipping if your bag is over a certain amount. If you're into backpacks, I'd go with a Jansport backpack because they're very durable (which is important), but they're also really cute. =)
