Are Jansport backpacks generally big enough for highschool?

I was going to get this Volcom backpack that was huge but then when I went to go order it, it was out of stock.
My mom wants me to get a traditional Jansport backpack

I'm going to be a freshman this year and we only have lockers for P.E. Will this backpack be big enough to hold books for all my classes?

They expect kids to carry crap around on their backs and arms?
Get something big,
because in my freshman year,
I literally received huge textbooks,
maybe 4?
Above all that, I had different binders for each class, and books for assignments.
But I took honors,
and if you're not, you may receive less.
Just get something big!

i need to get a backpack for school. most people my age in my school r using tote bags but my parents dont want me to. i need to find a backpack that people wont make fun of me for having. i am going into 8th grade and im a girl. i need it to be kind of big cuz i have a lot of homework, but i need it to be small when u take everything out bcuz i have succh a small locker...thanks soo muchh.

Zappos has different brands go with a roxie r jus something fun n funky they r really cute n by highschool no1 has totes they have regular backpacks n girls carry big purses so dont go by whatever other kids do
