Okay so i'm going into eighth grade and I need a new backpack I've had the same one forever and I like this one http://www.tillys.com/tillys/variants.aspx?prod=163980549&ctlg=020_Girls&cid=1094&source=1&size= I don't have experience with this type of bag, is it online only? Can you buy it at like academy or what are some other cool backpacks you can buy not online and are like this one? ***** I have made this question before and I just want to refresh it to the top of the list, Also I understand that everybody says black is cool but its an opinion, where can i buy jansports specifically this one or any one. *****

We don't have Academy Sports where I live, but I've seen similar Jansport backpacks (similar designs, which tells me they're from the same Jansport line) at places like box stores (here, specifically K-Mart and Shopko). I've also seen them at Sears, and similar department stores.
Sporting goods stores will have backpacks, obviously, but they might not have the exact pattern you want. They will have some that are plain colors, and some with interesting graphics, and you should be able to find something interesting at any large sporting goods store.
Another place to try is stores at the mall like Hot Topic. I don't know if Hot Topic carries Jansport, but they'll have cool designs in whatever brand of backpacks they do carry, since they try to carry cool merchandise for teens.
It's hard to tell you what stores to go to since not every store is available in a brick and mortar version in every place. Your largest selection will be online, naturally, but I am sure you can find something you like at a store near you.
Maybe the best thing to do is find out what stores are in your area, if you don't already know. Then call them, and just ask them if they carry backpacks made by Jansport. Jansport is one of the most popular companies, and they're known for both their plain and funky designs, so I am sure someone in your area at least carries the patterned ones, even if they don't have the specific one you want. Once you know who carries them, you can go shopping and look at the ones they do have available, and hopefully find something you like.
I wish I could tell you exactly where to find what you want at an actual store, but there are so many patterns and so many manufacturers that you're going to have to do that basic footwork yourself. I am sure, however, that you can find something you like by first finding out what stores are in your area, then finding out if they carry Jansport bags, and finally going out to look around a bit.

I take all AP classes, so I get a lot of work, but backpacks from Jansport and LLbean work real well. The white tote bag would be a good idea, but not in white. You're going to be lugging around your bag everywhere you go, and you're going to have to set it down at some point and the white color is going to turn brown or grey.
