I always get frustrated when shopping for backpacks. I'm taking AP classes so I need a backpack that is big enough for a lot of books, and has comfy straps. But isn't little kid looking. I don't want it to have designs all over it because I wear a uniform to school so plaid+designs on backpack=craziness.
I would like a tan backpack sort of leather looking. Does anyone know any good places to find stylish backpacks? Thank you!

My mom always got us the LL Bean backpack...I felt like a nerd. When I was old enough to put in my two cents I got a JanSport...less organizational, but better looking, in my opinion.
What are the 5 year old's carrying now?

My step daughter has one from Old Navy and one from the Gap. Both places have decent bags. From what I've seen, it looks like kids are already into the messenger bag style. Many of the ones from these 2 stores come with the insulated lunch box added in.
